Day 01: Arrive Kolkata
On arrival to Kolkata meet our representative at the Netaji Subhas International Airport and transfer to the hotel. Calcutta, Bengali KALIKATA, is the capital city of West Bengal, in India. The city boasts being the nation's largest metropolitan in area. The former capital city of India is noted for its vibrant culture and heritage. Due to its geographical location it is also known as the Gateway to the East & North East India.
Day 02: A Tour To The City of Joy
Mother Teressa's Tomb at the Mother House. Nakhoda Mosque: Modelled on Akbar’s tomb in Sikandra, a brightly painted onion shaped dome and can accommodate 10,000 people, built in 1926. Tagore House, at Jorasanko, is the birth place of Rabindranath Tagore, India’s greatest modern poet. Converted to Rabindra Bharati University, it is now a centre for Indian Classical Fine Arts. Pareshnath Jain Temple : The temple is an ornate mass of mirrors, coloured stones and glass mosaic, and overlooks a beautiful garden. It is in Shyambazar.
Swami Vivekananda's House : The ancestral house of Swami. Mahabodhi Society of India: The Maha Bodhi Society of India was founded by Anagarika Dhammapala in May, 1891 for the purpose of resuscitation Buddhism in India and of restoring the ancient Buddhist shrines at Buddha Gaya, Sarnath and Kushinara. Having its Headquarters in Calcutta its main attention has been paid in the restoration and revival of the glory and sanctity of Buddha Gaya. For this he founded the Society’s first Centre at Buddha Gaya.Then centers were established in Sarnath, Sanchi, Lucknow, Orissa, New Delhi, Chennai Ajmer, Bangalore etc.
St. Paul’s Cathedral : Constructed between 1839 and 1847 in Gothic style with stained glass windows and two Florentine frescoes, the cathedral is the largest in the city. Indian Museum: The ninth oldest regular museum of the world, INDIAN MUSEUM, Kolkata, INDIA is the oldest institution of its kind in Asia Pacific region and repository of the largest museum objects in India.Victoria Memorial Museum: was planned by Lord Curzon and opened by the Prince of Wales in 1921. This British attempt at building a second Taj Mahal, is dedicated to Queen Victoria and houses a fantastic collection of rare memorabilia from Colonial days. A light and sound show recreates history every evening.
Kalighat: : According to the legend, when Lord Shiva’s wife Parvati’s body was cut up, one of her fingers fell here. Rebuilt in 1809, this is an important shrine of Hindu Shakti worship. The temple is in the southern part of the city. National Library: Built in Italian Renaissance style, the Belvedere was the official residence of the Lieutenant Governor of Bengal. The National Library is now housed here. It is the largest library in India with a collection of more than one million books. Open to scholars from 8 am to 8 pm. Asiatic Society: The Asiatic Society has been declared an institution of National importance in its bicentenary year. Minar: The monument is situated on the ‘Maidan’ and was built in honour of Sir David Octerlony who fought the Nepalese War (1812 – 1814) to victory. The 48.16 metre tall monument has been named Shahid Minar since 9th August, 1969.
Marble Palace: Situated in an artistically laid-out garden, the place is full of rare collection of antiques of immense artistic and historical value. Howrah
Bridge (Rabindra Setu):A miracle of engineering skill, the Howrah Bridge is a huge cantilever bridge supported by two piers 270 ft. high from the road level. The span of the bridge between the piers is 1,500 ft while the total distance between the two sheet anchors is 2,115 ft. There are eight vehicular ways and two footpaths on the 71 ft. wide bridge.

Day 03: Half Day Shopping Tour
Kolkata is a shopper’s paradise, be it textile, jewelleries, books, antques or handicrafts. The city is full of shopping malls and markets of various size and characters.
New Market :- Though it referred to an enclosed market but today in lokal parlance the entire Lindsay Street shopping area is often known as New Market. New Market was thrown open with fanfare to the English populace on January 1, 1874. New Market was formally christened Sir Stuart Hogg Market then chairman of Calcutta Corporation, later shortened to Hogg Market.
College Street Book Market:- This market is famous for its wide range and verities of book shops and The Indian Coffee Shop.
Bahubazar Jewellery Market:- Bowbazar market is known for its jewellery shops besides other shops dealing in wooden furniture, musical instruments, shoes, seasonal fruits, fresh vegetable and flesh etc.It is Kolkata’s jewellery district, with a wide ranging collection of gold and silver ornaments. And there are numerous modern shopping malls to explore. Today’s lunch could be an option between delicious Bengali cuisine and Hakka Chinese from “China Town”.[Kolkata’s China Town is the largest of its kind in the country and presents a number of restaurants famous for Hakka Chinese cuisine. Evning transfer to Howrah station to board an overnight train to Puri.
Day 04: Puri
On arrival to the Puri station transfer to our Beach Resort. After refreshment experience our Ayurvedic Spa have some beach activity at our exclusive beach. At evening visit to the surroundings of the Jagannath temple and Puri proper to experience the local sweets and enjoy the charms of local market. Enjoy a bur-be-cue dinner at the resort.
Day 05: An excursion to Ratnagiri, Udaygiri, Lalitgiri (plz put the accurate distance)
Breakfast at hotel, excursion to visit Ratnagir, Udaigiri and Lalitgiri (110kms one ways) Ratnagiri in the Birupa river valley in the district of Jajpur, is another famous Buddhist centre and once an acclaimed seat for Mahayana Buddhism. A large-scale excavation has unearthed two large monasteries, a big stupa, Buddhist shrines, sculptures, and a large number of votive stupas.
Day 06: Konark – Dhauli – Khandagiri - Udaygiri
After B/F Visit to the Chariot of the Sun God temple, Konark, built by King Langula Narasimha Deva in the 13th century AD during the golden era of Orissan art. This templeis one among the crowning works of Orissan architecture and sculpture. After Lunch start for Bhubaneswr. Enrout visit Dhauli; where the Mauryan Emperor Ashoka renounced violence and embraced the teachings of Buddha. We visit the Peace Pagoda known as Shanti Stupa built in early 1970s by the Japanese. KHANDAGIRI AND UDAYGIRI CAVES (first century BC): Just 7kms west of Bhubaneswar are the twin hills of Khandagiri and Udaygiri, the next major Orissan historical monument after Ashoka's rock-cut edict. After refreshment and dinner at bhubaneswar board an overnight train (Train no. 12801, Purushottam Exp. At 23:25) to Gaya.
Day 07:Bodhgaya
On arrival transfer to the hotel. After refreshment visit Mahabodhi Temple: standing tall at 54 mts. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, this temple has been renovated over the years. It enshrines a large golden Buddha, and is encompassed by an ancient railing, dating back to 100 BC. Bodhi Tree: where Buddha is said to have attained enlightenment, and the Vajrasana or throne, where Buddha sat.
Day 08: Varanasi Nalanda – Rajgir
A full day excursion to Nalanda - A hot seat of knowledge and learning, Nalanda boast of a rich culture and tradition that has gained accolades worldwide. Established in the 5th century, the ancient University of Nalanda was one of the five most acclaimed Buddhist universities. Rajgir, visit Vishwa Shanti Stupa: The Vishwa Shanti Stupa is on a 400 m high hill and is built in marble. The four shining statues of Buddha are on the four sides of the stupa. Venu Vana Monastery: King Bimbisar built Venu Vana Monastery as residential quarters for Lord Buddha. It was the very first present to Lord Buddha by the king. Griddhakoota Hill:At Griddhakoota Hill, Lord Buddha set in a motion his second wheel of law or Dharma Pravartan Chakra. The Buddha Sangha of Japan has constructed a massive modern stupa, the Shanti Stupa or the Peace Pagoda at the top of the hill to commemorate the event. Evening back to Bodhgaya. Overnight at hotel.
Day 09: Bodhgaya
After B/F visit the temples of Bodhgaya, Dhungeswary peak and Sujata Village, which is named after the village girl Sujata who saved Buddhas life by offering milk-rice and made him feel the importance of life. On this realization only Buddha inclined towards middle path. After dinner board an overnight train to Kolkata.
Day 10 : Kolkata
On arrival to Kolkata have refreshment and transfer to the airport for International departure.
