Day 01: Arrive Mumbai

Arrive Mumbai airport, meet & greet with our office representative. Assistance and transfer to hotel. Rest free for personal activities.

Day 02: Mumbai

Morning play golf at Bombay Presidency Golf Club: The eighteen-hole, par 70 course yardge 6223/5463, spread over an expanse of 90-acre, was founded in 1927 and was redesigned to international standards by the legendary five-time British Open champion Peter Thompson. Presidency’s fairways are narrow and tight, but its greens are undoubtedly the best in the country.

Afternoon city tour of Mumbai visiting Gateway of India: which was conceived following the visit of King George V in 1911 and officially opened in 1924; Price of Wales Museum: designed in Indo Saracenic style and has sections for arts and paintings, archeology, natural history and an interesting collection of miniature paintings, bas reliefs from the Elephanta caves and Buddha images, Marine Drive: which runs along the shoreline, starting at Nariman Point and up to Malabar Hill, Hanging Gardens: laid out in 1881 these formally laid out gardens have a notable collection of hedges shaped like animals.

Overnight at the hotel. Day 03: Mumbai – Bangalore

Breakfast at hotel, transfer to airport to board flight for Bangalore. On arrival assistance & transfer to hotel.

Afternoon city tour of Bangalore 'Garden City' visiting the Lal Bagh Garden: Hyder Ali laid out this famous botanical garden and his son added horticultural wealth to them by importing trees and plants from several countries. The garden today houses over 1000 species of flora which include rare and enchanting collection of tropical plants, trees and herbs.

Also see the Government buildings Vidhana Soudha: This splendid neo-Dravidian granite building that dominates the northern boundary of the Cubbon Park is the home of the State Legislature and the Secretariat. The massive sandalwood door of the Cabinet room is a spectacular feature of this imposing building. The Vidhana Soudha is bedecked in illuminated glory during special periods and is a sight worth viewing.

The Bangalore Palace & Fort: The Bangalore Fort was built by Kempe Gowda and expanded by Tippu Sultan. Within its walls is the well preserved 16th century Ganapathi Temple. The Bangalore Palace was built by a Wodeyar king in 1887 on the 400 acre space. Inspired by the Windsor castle, this palace was built in the Tudor style, complete with Gothic windows, foiled windows, battlements and turrets resembling the Daria Daulat Palace in Srirangapatanam, this summer palace has been constructed largely of wood and is famous for its carving and paintings.

Tippu’s Summer Palace: The palace was first a mud-brick defense built by Kempegowda in 1537. Hyder Ali and his son Tipu Sultan later rebuilt it 1791. The two-storied structure (replica of the Daria Daulat in Srirangapatnam) served as Tipu's summer retreat. An inscription on the wooden screen describes the palace as the 'abode of happiness', almost mocking the ruins that surround it. Though the palace still has elegant teak pillars, most of the painted decorations have been destroyed and it is in very bad shape. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4: Bangalore

Morning round of golf at The key to conquering the par-72, 6,945 yards Karnataka Golf Association ( KGA ) Golf Course is to possess a hot Putter. The course has been re-designed by the legendary Peter Thomson, also the man behind the New Course at St. Andrews. It is one of the few in India where you can watch the proceedings on the 1st and the 10th tee, as well as the 9th and 18th greens, from the magnificent clubhouse- an aspect considered to be classic in golf course designing. Afternoon free for independent activities.

Day 5: Bangalore/ Mysore (139kms / 4hrs)

Morning leave by surface for Mysore enroute playing a game of golf at The Pacific Coast Designs Group from Australia has designed the Eagleton Golf Village. It is a few kilometers away from the city, but once you are there, it is a self-sufficient golfing oasis. From the championship tees, it measures 6,632 yards and is a par-72 course. The Eagleton is one of the latest courses in south India – it was inaugurated in 1999- and is in excellent condition. The fairways are undulating and the greens are large. The course has an excellent irrigation and drainage system.

Afternoon proceed to Mysore. Enroute visiting Srirangapatnam 16kms before Mysore. This fort was the stronghold of Tippu Sultan. Tippu made a last minute ditch Against the British in 1799 before surrendering his kingdom. Among the many fort buildings still intact, are Tippu’s Airy summer palace and his tomb at the Darya Daulat Bagh (garden). Daria Daulat Bagh: Built in 1784, this Summer Palace was one of Tipu's favourite retreats. It stands on a raised platform at a height of 1.5 metres. The Bagh is situated on the banks of Cauvery river has treasured the paintings, engraving, arms that depict the Valant victories and Struggles of Tipu Sultan. The structure made of teak, this Indo-Saracenic structure has ornate and beautiful frescoes. The corridors showcase murals which describe Tipu’s ordeals in the battlefield against the British. Here is also the Ranganathaswamy Temple: The temples is one of the most important Vaishnavite shrines in South India. It is built by the Gangas in 9th century, later improved by the Hoysala and Vijayanagar kings. On arrival check into hotel.

Day 6: Mysore / Ooty (158kms / 4hrs)

Morning half day city sightseeing tour of MYSORE visiting the palace of Maharaja built in 1911-12. The piece of harmonious synthesis of the hindu and saracenic styles of architecture with archways, domes turrets, colonnades and sculptures which are magnificent. Visit the Art gallery drive up to Chamundi hill to see the Chamundeshwari temple and a panoramic view of Mysore. Also visit the Nandi Bull.

Later leave by surface for Ooty. On arrival check into Hotel.

Day 7. Ooty

Morning play golf at Par 70, 6074/5125 yards, is a challenging course and is the only one to possess the mported Scottish grass called gorse. It is a thickly wooded course and has several eucalyptus, oak, rhododendron and fir trees. The course, built at an altitude of 7,600 feet, has several blind holes, where you cannot see the greens. Guide posts fixed on the intervening ridges give the player the necessary directions. The most grueling hole on this course is the fifth, all uphill and a good 200 feet higher. But the green is rewarding, with a breathtaking view across the hill ranges. The Ooty Golf Club fairways are lush but tight, and the greens are large and well maintained. Afternoon free to explore the areas in and around Ooty.

Day 8: Ooty – Coimbatore (88kms / 2hrs) Chennai

Morning leave by surface for Coimbatore. On arrival transfer to airport to connect flight to Chennai.

Dep: Coimbatore By: 9w 420 At: 1255 hrs.

Arr: Chennai At: 1350 hrs.

Meeting and assistance on arrival and transfer to hotel.

Day 9. Chennai

Morning play golf. At TNGF-Cosmo Golf Courses: designed by Peter thomson an inaugurated by the Governor General of India, the Honourable Marquees of Linlithgow on 15th Jan 1938, TNGF is an interesting and challenging course situated in the heart of Chennai City. The third hole runs parallel to Mount Road. You need to hit your tee shots over a nallah ( water canal) on the 17th and the 8th holes. There are several moundings and well placed bunkers which add to the degree of difficulty on this course. The course plays to par 72 and measures 6,859 yards.

Afternoon half day city sightseeing tour of CHENNAI visiting the national museum, drive thru old Madras passing thru some important buildings built by the British, visit St. Marys church inside the fort St. George, drive thru marina beach. Later visit Saint Thomas Cathedral & Kapaleeswarar Temple. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 10. Chennai

Breakfast at hotel, transfer to airport to board flight for your onward destination.
