Nainital Travel Guide     

Nainital, one of the picturesque hill stations, in the foothills of Himalaya ranges in the state of Uttarakhand, is one of the most beautiful places to explore in North Part of India. Bhimtal Lake : It is only a few km from city center that is considered as the biggest lake of Nainital. It got its name after one of the Pandavas, Bhim.

Nakuchia Lake : It is known for having nine corners. However, it is known for serene and calm environment.

Naini Devi Temple : It is one of the sacred 64 Shaktipeeths. It is believed that eyes of the Sati falled here. It is on the northern bank of the Naini Lake.

St. John's Church : It is one of the most beautiful and oldest places in Nainital that was vuilt in 1844.

Governor's House : It was built in 1899 in Victorian Gothic style. It is not a guest house for the Governor of Uttarakhand.

Naina Peak : The beautiful peak provides the amazing view of the entire hill station or town of Shimla.

Snow View Point : It is located on an altitude of 2,260 m, which is one of the coldest regions in Nainital.

In addition to the aforementioned attractions, there are also a number of other attractions in Nainital that keep travelers mesmerized for a long time.
