Nepal (05 Nights / 06 Days) (Kathmandu / Chitwan / Kathmandu)     

Day 01 : Arrival at the Kathmandu.

Meeting and assistance at airport by our representative and transfer to Hotel.

Overnight at the Hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 02 : Breakfast at the hotel, drive to Kathmandu

AM: Sightseeing tour of Kathmandu City + Swayambhunath

Kathmandu City : Known as Kantipur, the capital of the Kingdom of Nepal. Here you will visit the temple of the Living Goddess. Kasthamandap – the source of the name Kathmandu and supposed to be made from the timber of a single tree and the Durbar Square are with its array of temples overlooked by the Hanuman Dhoka Palace, the ancient palace of the Nepalese Royalty.

Swayambhunath : Located approximately 4 kms. /2.5 miles, this Buddhist Stupa is said to be 2000 years old. The Stupa which forms the main structure is composed of a solid hemisphere of brick and earth supporting a lofty conical spire capped by a pinnacle of copper gilt. Painted on the four sided base of the spire are the all seeing eyes of Lord Buddha. This hill is a mosaic of small Chaityas and Pagoda temples.

PM : Sightseeing tour of Patan City + Tibetan Handicraft Center

Patan City : 5 kms. /3 miles away from Kathmandu City. Patan also known as Lalitpur is the city of fine arts, enclosed within 4 stupas said to be built in 3rd century AD by Emperor Ashoka. You will see the Durbar Square, the Patan Durbar which houses a bronze collection, the Krishna temple built by King Siddhi Narsingh Malla, Hiranya Varna Mahavir and Mahaboudha Temple.

A trip to the Tibetan Refugee Camp and the Handicraft Centre will also be done while, visiting Patan where you will witness the hand weaving of Tibetan carpets and moldings of metal statues.

Day 03 : Breakfast at the hotel.

AM: Sightseeing tour of Pashupatinath + Bodhnath

Pashupatinath : Situated 5 kms. East of Kathmandu City, Pashupatinath temple is one of the holiest temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. Situated amidst a lush green natural setting on the bank of the sacred Bagmati River, the temple built in pagoda style has gilted roof and richly carved silver doors. Visitors will be permitted to view the temple from the east bank of Bagmati River, entrance in the temple being strictly forbidden to all non Hindus. Pashupatinath is the centre of annual pilgrimage on the day of shivaratri which falls in the month of February/March. Behind the temple are the cremation grounds.

Bodhnath : This Stupa, 8 kms. East of Kathmandu City is one of the biggest in the world of its kind. It stands with four pairs of eyes in the four cardinal direction keeping watch for righteous behavior and human prosperity. This Buddhism Stupa was built by King Man Deva at the advice of the Goddess Mani Jogini. It is built on an octagonal base inset with prayer wheels. The shrine is ringed by houses of Lamas or Buddhist priest.

PM : Drive to Chitwan 120kms. south-west of Kathmandu with an area of 932 square kilometres. It was established in 1973 and was later declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1984. Tropical deciduous reverie forests, wooded hills and grasslands contain one-fourth of the world's endangered great one-horned rhinos as well as the Royal Bengal tiger, leopards, monkeys, and the splendid gaur bison. More than 440 species of birds are found in this ornithologist's heaven, including the giant hornbill, the rare Bengal florican and the paradise flycatcher.

Overnight at the Hotel in Chitwan.

Day 04 : Chitwan; Day for Jungle safaris.

Early morning Tea/Coffee followed by Nature walk for bird watching.

Return to hotel for breakfast. Canoe ride along with elephant breeding center & elephant safari

PM; Visit to National Park visitor center. Village tour to ethnic Tharu village by ox cart.

19.00 hrs. Slide presentation {flora & fauna} on the Park.

Day 05 : Chitwan; Day for Jungle safaris.

Breakfast at the hotel, drive to Kathmandu. Day free for personal activities, relax etc.

Overnight at the Hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 06 : Breakfast at the hotel.

Free till departure.

Transfer to airport for Kathmandu onward flight.
