One of the ancient cities in the state of Madhya Pradesh, Panna is however not a major city or cosmopolitan one. The dense forest range is one of the youngest tiger reserves in India with a number of other species of animals like chinkara, sambar, dear, chital, sloth bear and the list goes on.

In addition to the national park, Raneh falls is also one of the major attractions of the city that is located on the Ken River very close to Panna. The cascading waterfalls that give a scenic surrounded by wonderful rock formation make it an ideal place to spend some more time here. The valley of crystalline granite also makes it a perfect destination for certain purposes.

Pandav Caves and fall is also a must see place in Panna that has been converted into an ideal picnic spot now. Moreover, Ken Gharial Sanctuary is also another wildlife sanctuary in Panna to explore.

Panna is also known for some small, yet ancient architected hotels, lodges, forest bungalows, and resorts. In this way, during your tour to the city, you can also stay here for a day or two.

Reaching Panna is not a tough task, as there are regular busses of Madhya Pradesh state Transportation Corporation and private transport agencies. However, the nearest airport of Panna is Khajuraho.
