For a holiday with a difference, one may hop aboard one of Indraprastham's houseboats to cruise the famous backwaters near the Coconut Lagoon. Once used to ferry rice and spices, the boats now host 10 one-, two- and three-bedroom, well furnished abodes. Panchakarma, Ayurveda and body massages are available. An array of local delicacies, especially seafood, is served amid a tranquil, home-like ambiance. Activities include fishing and sight-seeing. Check-in is at 11:30am, and check-out at 9:30am.

Cruise timings are 12:30pm-1:30pm and 3:30-5:30pm The houseboats cruise the famous Kerala backwaters, and offer one-, two- and three-bedroom AC rooms, furnished with modern amenities. Delicious local cuisine, specialising in lobster, crab, prawns and fish, is served for breakfast, lunch, tea and dinner. Panchakarma, Ayurveda and body massages are available. Guests may indulge in fishing with a rod provided by the resort, and sight-seeing. Check-in is at 11:30am, and check-out at 9:30am.
